Southern Utah Riding
Why Ride Southern Utah?
Hurricane, Utah sits at the center of one of the largest designated off-road riding areas in the American Southwest — 20,000+ acres of BLM land covering Warner Valley to the south and Hurricane Cliffs to the north, with an additional mesa network around Gould's Rim to the northeast. The terrain ranges from beginner-friendly desert washes to advanced technical single track along cliff edges and slickrock. Rideable 300+ days a year, 20 minutes from St. George, 30 minutes from Zion National Park, and under two hours from Las Vegas — Hurricane is built for dirt bike trips that most other destinations cannot match.
World-Class Dirt Bike Terrain
Red rock slickrock, desert washes, rocky ridgelines, and flowing single track — all within 30 minutes of town. Warner Valley's 39-mile trail system alone offers a full week of riding without repeating terrain, plus Hurricane Cliffs, Gould's Rim, and the route to Toquerville Falls.
Year-Round Riding
Southern Utah is rideable 300+ days a year — so when the Wasatch Front, Park City, and the Uintas are buried in snow, riders drive 4.5 hours south for dry trails and 55° winter days. Best months: October through May.
Easy Access
Two hours from Las Vegas on I-15, 4.5 hours from Salt Lake City, 20 minutes from St. George Regional Airport, and a day trip from Mesquite or Cedar City. Fly in, rent, and ride — or have the bike delivered to your trailhead.
